Self-realization is above all that is proper to the ordinary man, it is not a myth as the crowds are led to believe, and it is not poetry: it is a Real possibility, an effective Science, thoroughly known by the theurgic and magical Tradition from East to West, whose roots are confused with the history of every doctrine and religion of every era and place.
Out of this perennial Tradition, there exists in fact a precise, rigorous, methodical science, which like a golden thread is transmitted from flame to flame, from initiate to disciple, and in rare cases by reminiscence, in an uninterrupted chain not accessible to the profane.
He who identifies himself with his inner Purpose has drunk the living fluids of the Spirit, and these have awakened in him a Hunger that can no longer be appeased by appearances alone.
