For man there is not really a “problem”, but a Task. This Task to be accomplished is the Purpose of his inner Truth. The solution is a state to be realized by transforming one’s being. “Know thyself” means: “Refine, carry out, create yourself”.
This “realization” must be understood as something very concrete, nothing philosophical or conceptual, moral or sentimental, completely independent of any particular belief, faith or philosophy of men.
Realization is pure matter of experience, it is the Art of Doing.
One must have the strength to dare, to take on in its entirety what one is, feels, believes and thinks. To die to everything that is believing, loving, supposing, hoping, in order to “coldly” understand and Be what one has understood. The intimate Purpose of every man and woman is to surpass themselves, to transform themselves, to integrate, to dignify themselves in order to deify themselves.
