Knowing ourselves is loving ourselves

To know how we function is the starting point for every cognitive path.

In order to change our point of view regarding ourselves and Life, it is necessary to know certain mechanisms and functions with which we are constituted and with which we are identified and accustomed to “thinking about it”.

But what functions are we talking about? About those that provide a clear and exhaustive picture of personal tendencies and inclinations, of the laws of Life and the Universe, of their origin and of the role that the Human Being plays in these areas.

The obstacles to this knowledge are synthesized and largely structured in subconscious and unconscious patterns, tendencies and characteristic traits of the personality, mostly unknown to man no longer in contact with his own inner Truth.

Knowing ourselves is synonymous with being, with being freer to adopt an approach to Life that is right and true for us, to choose the relationships necessary for our emancipation, to be inclined and open to the experience of Life always a harbinger of renewed spaces of interest and growth.

This is not a cerebral knowledge, but it is the direct experience of oneself and one’s identity, it is the key that opens to the intuition of the Heart as an all-encompassing and loving center in man.

To truly know is to experience one’s own inner Truth, intimate and profound, and this is the only Way that leads to true Life.

We only know what we love, we only love what we know, so the Nosce te Ipsum of the wise ones is simply the wise invitation to love ourselves.
