We are so immersed in ourselves that we are hypnotized by our own interpretations, living estranged from what actually happens to us. We are absorbed by every minimal bodily impulse, distracted by constant emotional solicitations, absorbed by the mechanical impressions of the mind. Out of habit, we respond disproportionately to every event that captures our attention. We are very often distracted, automatisms and inattentions heavily influence us, because the estrangement between consxiousness and perception makes us slip into the mechanical associations of thoughts and emotions.

Unawareness is like a whirlpool that sucks us in and submerges us. This is why we force ourselves to stay in situations that we do not want, and by adapting, we also suffer what does not represent what we actually are.

We must recognize the torpor in which our senses and our consxiousness are lost, because this fatal ignorance leaves us defenseless in the dull vortex that we sarcastically call “Life”.

And yet, if we stop for a moment, we can discover that ultimately our burning dissatisfaction is not due to the dream in which we play roles and that we insist on calling life, but that in reality it is the limit to overcome to rejoin our Im-mortal Es-sence.

“Man has no limits and when one day he realizes it, he will be free even here in this world.”

Giordano Bruno
